KCL Law names new CEO

Melbourne-based firm KCL Law has appointed a new chief executive, who has been with the firm for 15 years.

Davina Onas (pictured) has been named as the new chief executive of multi-service, Melbourne-based firm KCL Law.

She is, the firm said in a statement, an “experienced strategic and people leader” and “comes into the role with a wealth of expertise across legal, operational and HR disciplines”.

Speaking about the appointment, KCL Law principal and head of the firm’s executive committee Sam Frey said: “Davina has been with the firm for 15 years. During this time, she has worked closely with the leadership team and has been a highly valued member of the executive committee. She has contributed significantly to the growth and development of the firm.

“An adaptable leader, Davina was instrumental in guiding the firm through the COVID pandemic. We are very proud to announce this appointment. Davina has the experience, expertise and skills to take KCL Law forward into a new era, and we are all excited for the next chapter.”

Ms Onas added that she is excited to continue her career with KCL Law in this new leadership role.

“Over the past 15 years at KCL Law, I’ve had the opportunity to gain an in-depth knowledge of the firm’s people, practices and culture and am proud to have helped shape and define the business we are today,” she said.

“I look forward to continuing to lead and empower our talented team over the coming years. I am committed to driving the growth and development of the firm to ensure we continue to deliver outstanding solutions and services to our valuable clients.”
