Jackson McDonald adds special counsel
Western Australia-based family law firm Jackson McDonald has appointed a senior practitioner as its newest special counsel.
Caris Tysoe (pictured) has joined Jackson McDonald, having come over from Bannerman Solicitors, where she spent over two years. Prior to this, she served as a barrister and solicitor at CGL Legal and Holden Barlow and was a lawyer at WN Legal.

Ms Tysoe, the firm said in a statement, is an “experienced and compassionate lawyer” who brings expertise in property settlement, marriage, divorce and de facto relationships, parenting arrangements, child support and maintenance issues, asset protection and financial agreements, adoption, bankruptcy and liquidation in connection with Family Court proceedings.
She has, the firm said, “earned an esteemed reputation as one of the most knowledgeable lawyers in the field”.
