Borrowing its name from the Jackson Browne hit, Lawyers in Love is a dating website where you can talk shop while chatting up potential suitors. Just what you want after a hard, 48 hour slog to close a huge transaction — more eyestrain, and more work. Folklaw would imagine most of you would prefer to talk to your garden gnomes, rather than another lawyer, at that point.

The site sells itself as the premier online dating site for single lawyers, law students and legal professionals. “If your schedule makes it difficult for you to meet people, if you are still working or (sic) during happy hours and other social events, if weekends are devoted to writing briefs or studying for your next law school exam, you will love this unique opportunity to find romance on the Web.” To become a member you simply have to enter your details and email address, which prompts the vow: “We never give out your email (we swear, and we are lawyers after all)”. Hmmmm. But, if you are interested, the site’s address is
