He comes across from Bartier Perry, where he served as a partner for nearly four years. Prior to this, he was a partner at Makinson d’Apice for over five years.
He brings with him, Macpherson Kelley said in a statement, over 25 years of experience and his depth of knowledge has allowed him to deliver successful outcomes for a range of significant clients, including private individuals, corporations, property trusts and developers.
The news follows the firm’s appointment of a Maddocks special counsel as a new principal in September, its naming of a new chief people officer in August, and its promotion of 13 lawyers to more senior roles in July.
Mr Munter said: “In an era where property law intersects with many industries, it is important to have a holistic view of property transactions that consider current trends and future challenges.”
The firm’s national managing principal, Grant Guenther, added: “Our clients are frequently interacting with increasingly complex and valuable issues relating to their real estate needs and investments.
“Craig’s proven ability to navigate complex property transactions is a great asset to our firm and our clients. We are really excited for Craig to join.”
