Award-winning boutique firm Resolve Divorce has promoted two of its associates to senior associate and named a new general manager.

Resolve Divorce – which last year won the Boutique Law Firm of the Year category at the Australian Law Awards – has promoted Ella Cameron and Sarah Williams to senior associate, effective 1 July.

Cameron’s “blend of legal acumen and empathetic approach makes her a standout in the family law space”, the firm detailed in a statement, noting that she is “not afraid to be a disruptor”.

Williams, on the other hand, is a “collaborative, creative, intuitive family lawyer, able to build strong rapport with her clients and understands deeply their goals, needs and concerns”, the firm submitted.

Elsewhere, the award-winning boutique practice has appointed Sam Cavallaro to the role of general manager – strategy.

He brings, the firm proclaimed, a “unique perspective” and a “profound understanding of technology trends and strong business acumen”, and has been charged with helping align the firm’s strategic initiatives across all business functions.

Speaking about the promotions, Resolve Divorce partner and head of legal Chanel Martin said: “At Resolve, we are focused on redefining family law through our holistic approach, addressing both the legal and emotional aspects of divorce to provide our clients with comprehensive, life-changing outcomes.”

“We have big plans for the next five years, and Ella and Sarah’s promotions are a testament to our focus on mentorship and growth for our incredibly talented team members. This is just another step in their growth journey, and we are excited to see them blossom in the years to come.”

On the appointment of Cavallaro, Martin said: “Sam is prepared across so many different facets of business.”

“His impact on Resolve has already been fantastic, and we are looking forward to working with him to achieve our strategic goals.”
