Victoria Comino and Christian Teese (both pictured) are the newest partners at Rigby Cooke Lawyers.

Comino has more than two decades of workplace relations experience across both legal and commercial practice and advises employers across several industry sectors, including transport and logistics, manufacturing, finance, security, pharmaceutical, residential construction, hospitality, professional services and local government, the firm detailed in a statement.

Teese has specialised in wills, estates, and trusts litigation for over 13 years, the firm went on, and has extensive experience acting for administrators and trustees in relation to estate and trust administration issues, as well as for beneficiaries and other claimants pursuing a diverse range of wills, estates, and trusts issues.

Elsewhere, the firm has promoted Gemma Robinson to special counsel, Marcus Schivo to senior associate, and Elise Jasper, Jo (Taijun) Mao, Ashwin Reddy, and Alexander Uskhopov to associate.

The promotions were effective as of 1 July.

The firm’s managing partner, Bill Karvela, said: “This is an exciting time for each lawyer receiving a promotion as they advance in their careers, particularly for Victoria and Christian, who are being promoted to partner. These promotions are truly well-deserved and recognise their respective talent, knowledge, and experience.

“They have all demonstrated steadfast dedication and commitment to their clients by consistently providing excellent service and making an outstanding contribution to both the firm and the broader profession.”
