The acquisition – which Lawyers Weekly understands has now been finalised – marks a “significant step in the ongoing growth” of Conditsis Lawyers, the firm said in a statement.

Conditsis – which has won multiple awards at previous Lawyers Weekly awards programs, including the 30 Under 30 and Partner of the Year programs – noted that the addition of the team from Brazel Moore would enhance its capabilities in succession law, as well as allow it to open a compensation law practice.

This will, it said, broaden the support available to clients across the NSW Central Coast, with the team from Brazel Moore – comprising one senior counsel, four lawyers, one licensed conveyancer, and five support staff – in Conditsis’ Gosford office.

Brazel Moore acceded to the acquisition, the statement said, “following careful consideration and reflection”.

Its founder and managing director, Geoff Brazel, said he was proud to pass the baton to a “well-established and highly respected practice” that has served the Central Coast and beyond since 1982.

Manny Conditsis, Conditsis’ managing director, said: “This acquisition marks a significant milestone in our vision for Conditsis Lawyers and reflects our shared commitment to excellence, innovation and strategic expansion.

“It also means we can support even more people in our community who are in need of expert legal representation.”

Conditsis has offices in Gosford (head office) and Newcastle, as well as satellite offices in Sydney and Wollongong and the Southern Highlands, and provides services in criminal law, family law, wills and estates, civil and commercial litigation, conveyancing, property law, personal injury, and compensation law.

The firm has 43 staff, including two partners, two associate directors, 20 lawyers, and 18 support staff.
