Steven Apostolou has stepped into the role of lead partner of Rigby Cooke Lawyers’ property practice.

With over 25 years of experience, Apostolou has extensive expertise in all facets of property law, including commercial, retail, industrial, residential, and mixed-use property.

Managing partner Bill Karvela said the firm was “very pleased” to welcome Steve and his wealth of knowledge to the firm.

“Steven’s expertise will further strengthen our property offering, building our longstanding history in property law and enabling us to meet the growing demands for our services from both commercial and private clients,” Karvela said.

Apostolou has worked with a number of prominent and successful property developers and business leaders across Melbourne and has acted in several high-value matters.

He has advised on acquisitions and disposals, planning and subdivisions, development and construction, retail and commercial leasing, and owners corporation matters.

The new lead partner’s experience also extends to structured finance arrangements, joint ventures, and syndication.

Apostolou’s appointment coincided with the retirement of property partner Tim Kelly, who had worked at the firm since 1999.
