Mellor Olsson Lawyers, an independent firm based in South Australia, has appointed a chief executive officer.
Cameron Thomson has stepped into the role of CEO of Mellor Olsson, taking over from inaugural CEO Paul Anderson.
As a senior operations and strategy leader, Thomson has more than two decades of experience in professional services and not-for-profits.
Prior to Mellor Olsson, Thomson held senior positions at a leading global law firm across the United Kingdom and Sydney.
Joanna Andrew, partner with Mellor Olsson, welcomed Thomson.
“Cameron’s appointment marks an exciting new phase for Mellor Olsson,” Andrew said.
“His proven leadership and strategic mindset align perfectly with our focus on delivering exceptional legal services and position the firm for continued long-term success.”
Thomson said the position at Mellor Olson was an “exciting opportunity” to steer the firm into its “next phase of growth”.
“I look forward to contributing to its continued success and working with the team to shape a strong future,” Thomson said.
Outgoing CEO Anderson was credited with working alongside the partnership group to advance the firm’s strategic objectives and deliver high-quality services to clients.
