WRP Legal has celebrated its 10th year in business and promoted one senior associate and three associates.

Avery Truong has been elevated from associate to senior associate in the commercial team, after joining the firm in 2020 as a law clerk.

Elma Li (intellectual property), Emily Burgess (tax, corporate, and commercial law), and Matthew Georgiadis (property and commercial) have all been promoted from lawyer to associate.

WRP Legal co-founder and director Garry Winter said the promotions reinforce the firm’s commitment to developing talent from within.

“As we celebrate 10 years of practice, it’s particularly rewarding to see the next generation of legal talent stepping into leadership roles within the firm,” he said.

“These promotions are a testament to the hard work and capability of our people. They also mark the continued growth and evolution of the firm.”
