With over a decade’s worth of experience within intellectual property law, XVII Degrees has added Natasha Marshall Teoh as a senior associate.

Teoh brings extensive experience across both the Australian and Japanese legal markets, having begun her career in Japan as an intellectual property executive at a local law firm.

Since then, she has held a range of roles in in-house IP teams, specialist intellectual property firms, and commercial law practices.

In a statement, the boutique law firm said Marshall Teoh’s appointment comes at a “pivotal moment” as it continues to expand its practice, particularly in trademark prosecution, enforcement, and ongoing litigation matters.

Speaking on the appointment, Blair Beven, principal at XVII Degrees, expressed his enthusiasm about Marshall Teoh joining the firm, highlighting the significant value she brings to the team and its clients.

“Natasha’s deep expertise in trademark law, coupled with her international experience, will be invaluable as we continue to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients,” Beven said.

This news follows the firm’s addition of a new attorney to lead its international trademark registration practice in late February.
