Goodman Spring has appointed a senior management team from multinational law firm Slater & Gordon to help lead the boutique personal injury firm through its upcoming growth phase.

Rachael James, the former general manager at Slater & Gordon, and Jackie Pearce will join the Sydney-based firm at the end of July in senior leadership roles.

The boutique personal injury firm has labelled the pair as a “powerhouse duo”.

Speaking on the pair’s next chapter, James shared how she was looking forward to working with the team at Goodman Spring and helping to shape the firm’s future direction.

“Goodman Spring has a great team in place, and I’m looking forward to building on that,” James said.

“Our unashamed focus will be on delivering great results underpinned by blue ribbon client care.”

James added: “Jackie and I are looking forward to bringing our national experience and knowledge to Goodman Spring and building New South Wales’ premier personal injury firm.”

Goodman Spring chairman Calvin Treacy described the appointments as a rare opportunity to bring in experienced and values-driven talent.

“Rachael and Jackie are exceptional managers, and people of this calibre are rarely available. Recruiting both at the same time is an absolute boon,” Treacy said.

“I am confident we have hired the best talent in Australia, not just to grow Goodman Spring, but to ensure it is run by people with heart.

“Client care and first-class legal work are at the core of everything they do, and I am delighted to welcome them to the Goodman Spring team.”
