National firm Keypoint Law has appointed a consulting principal with more than 20 years of experience in property finance matters.
Joining from Kalus Kenny Intelex, where she was a partner, Denise Wightman has brought over two decades of corporate, commercial, and property finance experience to Keypoint Law.
Wightman is the fifth consulting principal to join in 2026.
CEO Warren Kalinko said Wightman’s appointment reflects the firm’s continued focus on senior and specialist talent.
“Denise is a highly respected commercial lawyer with deep technical expertise and strong market credibility, particularly in property and property finance,” Kalinko said.
“Her appointment further strengthens Keypoint’s full-service offering for clients.”
Wightman has advised on joint venture and shareholder arrangements, business sales and acquisitions, corporate restructures, and general commercial structures.
She has been highly regarded for her expertise in property finance and investment, including structuring debt and equity transactions for developers, non-bank lenders, and high-net-worth clients.
Wightman has also authored the Australian chapters of several leading global reference guides, including Lexology’s Panoramic Acquisition Finance guide and its GTDT Corporate Governance guide.
“I am delighted to join the team at Keypoint Law,” Wightman said.
“I am looking forward to growing its banking and finance capabilities and to working in such an innovative and client-centric environment.”
