Business litigation and arbitration firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan has elevated one to partner.
Sydney-based senior lawyer Asia Lenard has been made partner at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan.
Lenard is the eighth partner in Sydney and one of 43 lawyers in the Sydney office dedicated solely to disputes work.
Sydney managing partner Michelle Fox welcomed the appointment.
“Asia is an outstanding litigator and will make an excellent addition to the Sydney partnership,” Fox said.
“Quinn Emanuel’s Australian practice is continuing to grow at a rapid rate, and Asia adds further depth to our bench of experienced litigation partners.”
Lenard’s practice focuses on financial services litigation and investigations, and she represents non-bank financial services firms in a diverse range of matters, including court proceedings, out-of-court dispute resolution processes, and regulatory investigations.
She joined the firm in 2016 at its New York office, where she worked on several multibillion-dollar lawsuits, including some of the largest cases that came out of the global financial crisis.
