Melbourne-based Madgwicks Lawyers has grown its senior lawyer ranks, elevating six lawyers into more senior positions as part of its latest round of promotions.
Madgwicks Lawyers has promoted six of its lawyers into more senior positions across the firm, with the changes taking effect from 1 July.
The Melbourne-based firm has elevated two lawyers to special counsel, appointed one senior associate, and promoted three associates in its latest round of internal promotions.
In a statement, the firm shared that this series of internal appointments reflects the lawyers’ strong contributions to clients, their collaboration across the firm, and their role in driving its continued success.
Alexandra Lawrence, from the litigation team, and Brynda Tan, from the commercial and corporate team, have both been promoted to special counsel.
At the senior associate level, Lee Filkin (dispute resolution and litigation) has been promoted to the role, while Eva Bluett (dispute resolution and litigation), Sandra Phan (property and finance), and Chiara Whelan (corporate and commercial) have been elevated to associate positions.
Angelo Conti, principal at Madgwicks, shared how the promotions reflect the firm’s people-first approach, recognising the six lawyers’ technical excellence, commitment to clients and colleagues, and their contribution to the firm’s continued growth and success.
“At Madgwicks, our people are central to everything we do,” Conti said.
“These promotions recognise not only the professional excellence and technical expertise demonstrated by Alexandra, Brynda, Lee, Eva, Sandra, and Chiara but also their commitment to our clients, their colleagues and the values that define our firm.
“Each of these individuals has made a significant contribution to the growth and success of Madgwicks. We are proud to support their professional development and look forward to seeing them continue to build successful careers with the firm.”
