Catton & Tondelstrand Family Lawyers has opened a new office in the Brisbane CBD, expanding its Queensland presence with a second location.

Through opening this new office, the family law firm said it will improve accessibility for its clients seeking expert legal advice across all areas of family law.

Since opening its doors in 2018, the family law firm founded by Liz Catton and Angela Tondelstrand (pictured) has maintained a single-office presence in the Sunshine Coast.

The new Brisbane office will operate alongside the firm’s existing base, strengthening its ability to service clients across a broader geographic area of South-East Queensland.

In a statement, the firm shared how it has developed a profile across South-East Queensland for its “compassionate, strategic and client-focused approach” to family law matters.

Its practice spans all areas of family law, including divorce, parenting disputes, property settlements, domestic violence proceedings, mediation, and complex financial matters.

Tondelstrand noted that the decision to establish a permanent presence in the Brisbane CBD follows sustained growth in inquiries from the region in recent years for specialist family law services.

“We have seen significant growth in enquiries from Brisbane clients over the past few years, and establishing a permanent CBD presence is a natural next step for the firm,” Tondelstrand said.

“Our focus has always been on delivering clear, practical advice while supporting clients through what is often one of the most difficult periods of their lives.”
