Arnold Thomas & Becker has promoted 25 professionals across its legal, legal support, and administration teams as the Victorian personal injury firm continues to build momentum following another year of growth.

The promotion round spans multiple levels of the business, including one principal lawyer, four associates, one law clerk, 17 legal support professionals, and two employees from the firm’s administration team.

The personal injury firm said the promotions celebrate “another strong financial year” and recognise the contributions of these individuals whose dedication has helped drive the firm’s continued growth and success.

Among the promotions, Rob Heazlewood has been elevated to principal lawyer, reaching the milestone less than two years after joining Arnold Thomas & Becker.

The round also saw Ben Murphy, Lachlan Macfarlane, Maggie Attalla, and Ritaa Maroki step into associate roles, while Emma Curtain was promoted to law clerk.

Beyond its legal teams, Arnold Thomas & Becker also strengthened its administration function, promoting Adeel Umar to digital marketing manager and Rebecca Wilson to talent acquisition specialist and people and culture officer.

Speaking about the appointments, Arnold Thomas & Becker managing director Lee Flanagan said the promotions recognise the individuals who have helped drive the firm’s growth while reinforcing its commitment to developing talent at every stage of their careers.

“Those who have been promoted demonstrate dedication and hard work, day in and day out. They have a positive impact on our clients, embody Arnold Thomas & Becker’s values, and contribute to the continued growth of the firm,” Flanagan said.

“As Arnold Thomas & Becker continues to grow, we remain committed to creating meaningful development opportunities for our people. We believe career development should never plateau, and we are proud to foster an environment where our people are continually learning and evolving.”

Flanagan added: “We are proud to see our people grow alongside the firm, and these promotions recognise both their professional achievements and the positive contributions they make to our culture and ongoing success.”
