LinkedIn has arguably ruled out the need for recruitment agencies as employers increasingly search for new talent via social networking sites, but one UK lawyer should probably avoid doing his own recruiting.

As Rollonfriday reports, the owner of a UK firm has advertised a "partnership opportunity" specifically for a female lawyer.

In particular, Husham Rumhie - who is "president and owner of Divine Angel for Int'l Arbitration & Nationals' Legislation Firm (Court)" - would like the female lawyer to be a single, "classy blonde" aged between 25 and 35 years, with "royalty performance and appearance".

Oh, and the lucky lady also needs to have between one and five years' experience working with the UK's top firms, as well as around £35,000 to £100,000 to "invest" and cover the expenses of running the firm for six to 12 months.

Folklaw was very amused to hear about this rather specific recruitment drive and will be interested to hear if any classy, single blondes will be willing to share their spare cash and apply to Rumhie's tempting offer.

But just in case, applications close on 15 February.
