HALL & Wilcox, a commercial law firm with 180 employees, has hired two partners from rival firm Gadens Lawyers.

Natalie Bannister and John O’Kane join Hall & Wilcox’s property, planning and construction team

Hall & Wilcox managing partner, Tony Macvean, said the lawyers’ credentials and specialist expertise made them good additions to the team.

Bannister specialises in environmental and planning law with a focus on resources. She primarily acts for property developers and large corporate clients and in 2003 was awarded the inaugural Victorian Women’s Lawyer Achievement Award.

O’Kane’s primary area of expertise is front and back end construction with a focus on large-scale developments. He has a particular interest in health-related developments and has acted for several hospitals and aged care property developers.
