Hynes Lawyers has hired Rod Young as consultant to its aged care and retirement living practice.

Young joins Hynes Lawyers after his departure from Aged Care Association Australia (ACAA). The new hire has more than 30 years experience in the health and aged care industries.

Young has managed infrastructure projects and a teaching hospital complex, and has worked on health systems re-design and developing health and aged care policy reform.

Hynes Lawyers partner Julie McStay, who works in the aged care practice, said: “As we have moved through the aged care reform process, [the firm] has worked closely with Rod Young in his capacity as CEO of ACAA.”
