Clayton Utz has hired a director at RBS, formerly ABN Amro, as a director in its corporate practice in Sydney.

Natasha Davidson held various legal and banking roles at RBS for nearly a decade. Her most recent position as Director of ECM and M&A saw her lead the legal negotiations and probity and procurement work streams on both the QR National and T3 landmark offers.

At the beginning of her career, Davidson spent over 4 years in the M&A group of another leading law firm and has lectured in law at Sydney University.

"Our clients will reap the benefit of Natasha's considerable experience at the coalface of transactions working on both the legal and commercial side and her deep understanding of, and connections within, the investment banking industry," said Head of Equity Capital Markets Stuart Byrne.
