THE identity of The Times' online law blogger BabyBarista, until now an anonymous surveyor of the London Bar, has been revealed.

"The story's finally out," the blogger himself reveals today. Tim Kevan, a barrister who practiced at London's 1 Temple Gardens for nine years before leaving the Bar to write full time, has revealed his identity as he launches a novel based on the blog.

Titled BabyBarista and The Art of War, the novel will expand on the story line of the junior blogger, whose tagline is "serving coffee for the rich and powerful - a junior's view".

BabyBarista jokes on his blog: "One thing of which you can definitely be sure: whatever Tim Kevan is up to with his publicity gig, I will continue to be writing this blog and keeping you up to date on my various fights with TopFirst and UpTights", two of the blog's characters.
