HWL nabs global partner

National firm HWL Ebsworth nabbed a partner from Norton Rose Fulbright.

Banking & finance partner Gillad Dalal left Norton Rose Fulbright after more than 12 years with the firm to join HWL’s Melbourne office.

Dalal, who has 25 years’ experience in the banking & finance area, specialises in structured trade and commodities finance, cross-border transactions, project finance, corporate finance, restructuring and workouts.

Dalal has given advice to several major Australian and international banks and financial institutions, including ANZ, HSBC, CBA, Bankwest and Standard Chartered Bank.

Juan Martinez (pictured), HWL’s managing partner, commented on the appointment:

“Gillad’s vast experience, market knowledge and leading reputation in the banking and commodities sectors will make him an invaluable member of our banking & financial services team.”
