Rockwell Olivier has confirmed to Lawyers Weekly that John Ridgway (pictured) will juggle the appointment with existing management roles at Rockwell Olivier and Pacific Legal Network, an international legal and advisory network owned by ILH.

Ridgeway’s remit as Head of Legal Services is to manage the strategy process and drive future growth prospects for Rockwell Olivier.

ILH has also appointed the former managing director of Capricorn Investment Partners Limited, David French, as Head of Wealth Management.

Last year ILH acquired Capricorn Investment Partners Limited, a corporate advisory and wealth management company, along with Victoria-based financial planning boutique The Pentad Group. ILH managing director and chief executive Graeme Fowler told Lawyers Weekly at the time that the purchase of the two financial advisory firms was not a sign that the ASX-listed company was moving away from its legal roots.

Rockwell Olivier became the first foreign legal practice to launch an office in Fiji in May.
