How technology is shaping transactions

By Stefanie Garber|04 July 2016

At a recent roundtable, transaction lawyers and IT experts discussed the impact of technology on contract exchanges and its future implications.

Lawyers Weekly, in partnership with InfoTrack, hosted the Transaction Technology roundtable earlier this month.

The discussion brought together lawyers from Clayton Utz, Baker & McKenzie, Colin Biggers & Paisley and Kreisson to explore the opportunities and challenges presented by technology in transactional practices, especially property.

Increasingly, technology is making it possible to eliminate paper from document exchanges altogether, but is the profession embracing this trend?
