Mills Oakley practice diverts to McDonald Phillips

McDonald Phillips Lawyers has announced that the commercial and property practice groups from Mills Oakley’s Brisbane office have joined its ranks.

LESS than 12 months after opening its doors, McDonald Phillips Lawyers has announced that the commercial and property practice groups from Mills Oakley’s Brisbane office have joined its team. 


Solicitor director, Rhonda King, said the firm has seen rapid growth in the short time it has been operating and these appointments will allow greater market penetration in the future.


“The depth of experience brought to the firm by the former Mills Oakley team will be a valuable addition to our existing McDonald Phillips practice groups and will provide our clients with a greater breadth of services,” she said.


Meanwhile, commercial lawyer, Rick Jones, joins as a consultant to McDonald Phillips Lawyers, bringing 30 years experience in the areas of commercial and corporate law, property, banking and finance law and commercial litigation, including recovery and insolvency law.


McDonald Phillips existing practice areas will be further enhanced by the expertise brought by Amanda Heard, Senior Associate, who has extensive experience in commercial, corporate and property law.


Also joining the team are Anthony Cocolas as lawyers, Caitlin Tuck as lawyer) and Monique Marrinon as senior paralegal.
