With over 15 years experience in major project across the Region in industries such as technology, resources, property, manufacturing and food , Goh has an understanding of the conflicting compliance and governance issues that can arise, Advent Lawyers said.

The firm said it prides itself on hiring lawyers with top-tier law firm experience as well as in-house experience. The firm recently hired former Clifford Chance partner Peter Deegan and  former senior IT Lawyer with Deutsche Bank in Sydney and London, Graham Jefferson.

The law firm's latest recruit has experience working with companies listed in various overseas jurisdictions including the United States.

“[His] demonstrated track record in delivering strong commercial outcomes when dealing with multiple stakeholders across countries with complex business environments, is a  tremendous value-add for Advent clients doing business in some of the fastest growing economies in the world,” said John Knox, Advent founder and chief executive.

The firm attributes its growth in the Asia Pacific Region in part to its business model of offering fixed and reduced costs. As well, its strategic alliance with top ranking global legal process outsourcer Pangea3 enables clients to reduce their legal costs through flexible outsourcing alternatives.
