Steve Walker, previously principal lawyer of Walker Legal in NSW, joined Shine in 2012 and has also been promoted to partner. Walker came to Shine with more than 10 years’ experience running his own plaintiff litigation firm.
Shine also appointed several associates in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
Fiona Leddy, who was the Brisbane CBD branch manager after she joined the firm in 2008, was promoted to associate in Brisbane. She is a member of the Queensland Law Society (QLS) and the Australian Lawyers Alliance (ALA).
Also in Brisbane, Will Barsby has been promoted to associate. Barsby joined Shine in 2011 and has worked as branch manager of the North Lakes office.

Senior solicitor and Helensvale branch manager Peter Matus, who has been with the firm since 2009, was also recently promoted to associate. Matt Forbes and Chris Gillott have been appointed as associates of Shine Lawyers, while solicitor Kate Brodnick – formerly of AK Compensation Lawyers – was also formally welcomed as an associate.

In NSW, former Walker Legal solicitors Chris Sutton, Margaret Sui, Evelina Giusti, Sharron Vogel and Kelly Durant have all been appointed as associates.
In Victoria, Richard Maloney has been promoted to associate and, in Western Australia, Perth branch manager Jennifer Craig has been promoted to associate.
