QUEENSLAND FIRM MacDonnells Law has expanded its planning and environment team with the appointment of senior associate Danyelle Roach.

Based in the firm’s Brisbane office, Roach has been practising law for 15 years, and in that time she has acquired an extensive knowledge of all aspects of planning, environment and local government law.

During her years of practice, Roach has provided advice on a range of local government matters from rating and infrastructure charging through to interpretation of planning schemes and relevant legislation. She has also provided specific advice on development applications and conditions of development.

Roach has conducted litigation and enforcement matters in the Planning and Environment Court and Magistrates Court for both local governments and developers, with some time spent in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.
