Queensland law firm, McInnes Wilson Lawyers, has appointed solicitor, David Edwards, to the commercial litigation division and promoted Toby Nielsen to associate. Edwards joins the firm’s commercial litigation division as a Solicitor. Admitted in December 2001, Edwards has previously worked for Minter Ellison, Hemming & Hart Lawyers and more recently Jones King Lawyers. His specialities include: commercial litigation including contract disputes, trade practices disputes and negligence claims, defamation, insolvency, bankruptcy, and debt recovery. Nielsen specialises in insurance litigation and family law. Prior to joining McInnes Wilson, he was a solicitor with Bell Dixon Butler in Hervey Bay. There he worked in personal injuries law, family law, commercial law, criminal law and general litigation.
