The NSW Crown Solicitor has appointed Alison Walsh as a senior solicitor in the Community Law Practice Group.

Kelly & Co has promoted four solicitors to associate level. Nick Karagiannis, corporate and commercial division, has experience advising major corporations, with a focus on resource and financial service companies. Natalie Charlesworth, in the dispute resolution division, has a range of commercial litigation skills, particularly in the administrative law, intellectual property and trade practices areas. Ben Doyle, also in the dispute resolution division, recently returned to the firm following his appointment as associate to the Chief Justice of the High Court and Fiona Steffensen, dispute resolution division, specialises in commercial litigation, insolvency litigation and insolvency administration.

Minter Ellison has promoted Mark Douglas to the partnership. Douglas has been with the firm for two years and works in the commercial litigation team.

Minters also promoted five lawyers to senior associate. Kim Carrocci in property, Greg English in resources, Kirrily Mitchell in the areas of commercial law and taxation, Courtney Robinson in corporate, commercial and financial services and Matthew Tripodi in the areas of taxation and superannuation.

TressCox Lawyers has appointed Jeremy Prentice as partner. Prentice joined the firm’s projects team as a PPP projects and infrastructure specialist.
