Middletons has made several new appointments. Zoe Chung has joined the firm’s taxation and revenue team. She has previously worked as a tax consultant at KPMG and spent four years in the tax and commercial group at Arnold Bloch Leibler. Tony Symons and Adrian Smith have joined the firm as senior associates in its corporate and commercial team. Symons was previously in the Hong Kong office of Linklaters, where he spent the past four years focusing on cross-border M&A and capital raising. Smith has extensive experience in M&A and prior to this appointment was at Baker & McKenzie in London and Sydney. Brija Mira has joined the commercial litigation group as a senior associate in trade practices. Mira was formerly at London’s ‘magic circle’ firm, Freshfields. Rebecca Bolton has been appointed to the taxation and revenue division after four and a half years in the Melbourne and Hong Kong offices of Baker & McKenzie. Her experience includes GST, domestic and international restructures.
