Commercial law firm Mullins Lawyers has bolstered its business services practice with the appointment of an intellectual property specialist as special counsel.
Judy Zhu has joined the Brisbane-based Mullins Lawyers as special counsel, holding extensive experience guiding clients through the protection, management, and commercialisation of intellectual property throughout Australia, New Zealand, and global markets.
The addition of Zhu comes after several key appointments for Mullins Lawyers in the past three months, with the elevation of a partner and two senior associates, and the appointment of Mullins’ first dedicated pro bono special counsel.
A trusted adviser, with over two and a half decades in the legal profession, Zhu joins Mullins from HopgoodGanim Lawyers, where she was a senior associate.
Throughout her career, she has advised clients across a broad range of sectors, including technology, manufacturing, and retail, as well as specialised experience in the construction, mining, and real estate.
Furthermore, she has provided legal guidance to governmental bodies, not-for-profit organisations, and entities within the professional services and sporting areas.
Working closely with her clients, Zhu develops practical, business-focused strategies aimed at driving innovation and building long-term value.
