Mullins’ senior leadership has been strengthened with the elevation of a partner and two senior associates.
Over the last five years, James Browning has been promoted from associate to senior associate, and now finally to partner.
Browning, a key member of Mullins’ property and hospitality team, is known for his expertise across commercial property, transactions and development projects.
Most recently, Browning advised BeauGroup on securing tenure for the Gateway Marina project at Burnett Heads, which was a significant mixed-use development to transform the region’s waterfront.
Bethany Fitzgerald and Joanne de Jesus moved up to senior associate.
Fitzgerald is recognised for her technical expertise within the family law team, where she advises on complex parenting and property matters, including high-value settlements and international family law issues.
Within the business services team, de Jesus specialises in corporate and commercial law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, delivering practice and commercially focused advice to clients.
Mullins said the promotions reflect its continued investment in its people and growth across key practice areas.
