Deal significance: Nextmedia is the publisher of titles such as Inside Sport, Golf Australia, Motorsport News and Girlpower. Forum Media Group is an umbrella brand for 25 media companies operating in 16 countries throughout Europe and Asia. Wosleley Private Equity partnered with Nextmedia CEO David Gardiner and commercial director Bruce Duncan in 2008 and has since grown the media company to include a stable of more than 40 magazines plus a range of DVDs, books, websites and posters. This is Forum Media Group’s first acquisition in Australia.
