Deal significance: Stockholm-based SEB Private Equity (SEB) made a cross-border acquisition of video tech company Accedo Broadband (Accedo).

Accedo has a customer base of over 350 of the world's leading premium media companies, operators, broadcasters, and other video services providers, and reaches hundreds of millions of video consumers worldwide.

The acquisition of Accedo is expected to accelerate the growth and continued innovation of the tech company, and is just one of many recent investments by SEB in the expanding tech and media industries.
