This year’s Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards was held on 1 September, with over 700 people turning up to pay tribute to people across the profession – from the most senior ranks to the rising stars.

Held at The Star’s Event Centre, the black-tie event was hosted by comedian Vince Sorrenti who entertained the crowd as MC while each winner took to the stage to claim their accolade. 

Lawyers Weekly would like to congratulate all of the night’s winners and finalists, and thank those who attended the event to show their support.

Prior to joining Momentum Media, Emma worked in breakfast radio, delivering news to the Central West region of NSW, before taking on a radio journalist role at Southern Cross Austereo, based in Townsville, North Queensland.

She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree from Charles Sturt University.
