Gilbert + Tobin has welcomed two highly experienced partners to its ranks.

Peter Doyle will join its banking and infrastructure group while Elias Stephen will join its real estate and projects arm.

“We are delighted to welcome Peter and Elias to G+T,” G+T managing partner David Gilbert said of the appointments. “They will both help us to further build our market-leading practice in major corporate transactions, with a focus on infrastructure and real estate, respectively.”

Mr Doyle leaves behind King & Wood Mallesons, where he spent 38 years building a successful practice that specialised in project and infrastructure finance.

He acted for sponsors and financiers in relation to a number of major infrastructures, energy and resources project financings and on key social infrastructure PPPs. As a highly ranked practitioner, Mr Doyle is a leader in his field.

Joined by Mr Doyle, Mr Stephen is an experienced real estate partner with clients that include leading national and international listed property trusts, real estate funds, private equity groups, investment banks and high-net-worth family offices.

Mr Doyle and Mr Stephen joined the partnership at the beginning of July 2019.
