Piper Alderman attracts new partner

A new partner has joined Piper Alderman this week in its dispute resolution and litigation team in Melbourne, bringing along her team of senior associate and paralegal.

Coming from Thomson Geer, Louise Gehrig is a highly experienced litigator with a strong background in dispute resolution in corporate and commercial law areas, particularly at Supreme Court level.

Managing partner, Tony Britten-Jones, said he was delighted to welcome a practitioner of Ms Gehrig’s calibre and market reputation to the team.

“Louise joins a very experienced and dynamic national dispute resolution and litigation team,” he said.

Her areas of expertise include banking and finance litigation, property and commercial disputes, wills, estates and trust disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct, competition and consumer claims.

Joining along with Ms Gehrig is senior associate Rob Norton whose areas of expertise include banking and finance litigation, property and commercial disputes, wills, estates and trust disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct, competition and consumer claims.

Working closely with Ms Gehrig, Mr Norton has also acted for a range of institutional, corporate and private clients whether they be plaintiffs or defendants.
