Deal: The firm has advised the Barambah Organics founders on investment from Tanarra Capital in which they will retain an interest in the business and continue to be involved in the management of its operations and the growth strategy.

Key players: The HWL Ebsworth team included partners Cameron Jorss and Stewart Ebbott, who were assisted by associate Eloise Jolly. 

Deal significance: Barambah Organics is a vertically integrated producer of certified organic milk, yoghurt, cream and cheese products which are distributed nationally. The company has farms across Queensland and NSW. 

The transaction combined HWL Ebsworth’s experience in the food and agribusiness industry with its full-service corporate offering and private equity experience.
