Global law firm DLA Piper has advised Amber Infrastructure on its first investment in a data business in Australia.

Key players: DLA Piper’s Shane Bilardi led the team advising Amber Infrastructure.

Deal significance: iseek is a leading Australian digital infrastructure operator with five data centres across Australia, while Amber Infrastructure is a specialist international infrastructure investment manager.

The stake acquisition of iseek marks Amber Infrastructure’s first investment in the local market.

“The completion of this transaction is an exciting step for the development of Amber Infrastructure’s business in Australia, and we look forward to watching the growth of iseek under its new ownership. Our team has deep experience in the data centre sector, and we are pleased to be involved in another transaction in this space,” Mr Bilardi said.
