Two new members have been elected to the Baker McKenzie global executive committee, assuming their roles in October.
London-based Kirsty Wilson and Buenos Aires-based Gustavo Boruchowicz will replace Constanze Ulmer-Eilfort and Jaime Trujillo, who will both be concluding their four-year terms on the committee.
Both will assume their new roles in the committee in October, at Baker McKenzie’s annual meeting.
In the Asia-Pacific region, Taipei-based M&A partner Michael Wong continues his term as Asia-Pacific chair, while Hong Kong IP partner Shih Yann Loo also remains an executive committee member.
Commenting on the new appointments, global chair of Baker McKenzie Milton Cheng said: “In Kirsty and Gustavo we have two outstanding leaders with a strong track record of successfully leading large teams, and collaborating across multiple jurisdictions and various practices. I am looking forward to the perspectives they will bring to our Executive Committee discussions, as we drive our strategy forward.
“I’d also like to thank Constanze and Jaime on behalf of the entire Firm for their leadership, hard work and invaluable contributions to the EC throughout their terms, including recognizing Jaime’s time as interim Global Chair, and their tireless efforts over the past year and a half as we have navigated the pandemic.”
