Macpherson Kelley has begun 2022 with six new promotions within the firm, including one principal and one special counsel.

Bolstering its offices across the country, Macpherson Kelley has promoted six staff, including Mark Metzeling as the new principal within the firm’s Brisbane commercial team. Mr Metzeling has a diverse network of clients, from start-ups to national subsidiaries of global corporations and has over a decade of legal experience.

Joining Mr Metzeling in the national IP team is Nils Versemann, who has been promoted to special counsel in Victoria’s commercial team. In addition, Catherine Tan, June Lee and Lachlan Henry have been promoted to senior associate, and Veronica Voulgaris has been promoted to associate.
National managing principal lawyer Grant Guenther said that the senior promotions were a result of dedication and hard work.
“Mark and Nils have demonstrated exceptional technical expertise complemented by a focus on client service and strengthening relationships that has resulted in enormous trust and respect from clients and colleagues alike,” he said.
“It is great to see the strength of our national IP team continue to grow as does the diversity in their client base. Congratulations to them both.”
