She has extensive experience in investment funds management. Her work encompasses the full business lifecycle from setting up financial services businesses and funds to ongoing regulatory compliance.  

Ms Procter has a particular interest in payment systems, and she has acted for fund managers, financial planners and other Australian financial services licensees on a range of commercial transactions, including the acquisition and disposal of scheme assets.

She has previously held roles at the Bank of Queensland and with Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner in London. 

Baker McKenzie’s national managing partner Anthony Foley noted his excitement in adding Ms Procter to their financial services and funds team.

As of 1 July, Baker McKenzie expanded its Australian funds and financial services offering with the promotion of Alan Darwin to the partnership, along with the promotion of Liam Hickey as a partner in the Australian financial sponsors transactional team.
