Healius sells its day hospitals business

Australian healthcare company Healius Limited has been advised on the sale of its Montserrat Day Hospitals business, with an enterprise value of up to $138.6 million.

Deal: Healius has sold off its Montserrat Day Hospitals business to Nexus Day Hospitals, controlled by funds managed by QIC Limited.

Area: Corporate

Value: $138.6 million

Key players: The HSF team was led by partner Brad Russell, who was supported by senior associate Ken Ooi and solicitors Shonie Kaushik, Laura Boshier Eggins and Alessandra Hayward, as well as specialists from the firm’s competition, employment, intellectual property and stamp duty teams.

Deal significance: Speaking about the deal, Mr Russell said: “We are delighted to have assisted Healius with this significant transaction. It is always a pleasure to work with the experienced Healius team.”
