International law firm Allens has advised on the refinancing of the Stockyard Hill Wind Farm’s debt facilities.

Deal: Refinancing of Stockyard Hill Wind Farm’s debt facilities have completed. Lazard Australia was the financial adviser.

Key players: The Allens legal team comprised banking and finance partner Scott McCoy, overseas practitioner Sophie Langham and lawyer Julian Kesov.
Advising from the projects side was partners Michael Graves, Jillian Button and Karla Drinkwater, who were supported by associates Elisabeth Sandbach and Alisha Arora.
Deal significance: The 528-megawatt Stockyard Hill Wind Farm consists of 149 wind turbines and has the potential to power approximately 425,000 homes annually, a statement from Allens confirmed.
Commenting on the deal, partner Scott McCoy said: “We are pleased to have supported Stockyard Hill Wind Farm and its shareholders with the refinancing.
“The strong support from lenders is testament to the quality of the project.”
