Global law firm Allens has advised Goldwind on the sale of 49 per cent of Stockyard Hill Wind Farm to Palisade Investment Partners and Aware Super.

Deal: Goldwind has completed the sale of 49 per cent of Stockyard Hill Wind Farm, “Australia’s largest operating wind farm in the National Electricity Market”, to Palisade Investment Partners and Aware Super.

The sale follows Goldwind’s sale of 49 per cent of Moorabool Wind Farm to Nebras Power, as reported by Lawyers Weekly last month.

Area: Merger and acquisition

Value: Undisclosed

Key players: The Allens team was led by partner Jeremy Low, who was supported by partners Karla Drinkwater, Michael Graves, Jillian Button, Scott McCoy and Adrian Chek, senior associate Amina Karcic, associates Charlie George, Chris Yuan, Alisha Arora, Elisabeth Sandbach and Will Rennick, lawyers Lily Turpin, Ellie Khor, Lachlan Helme-King, Billie Hook and Eric Sofianopoulos, and overseas practitioner Sophie Langham.

Deal significance: Mr Low said: “We are delighted to have advised Goldwind on this significant transaction.”
