Sime Darby acquires Onsite Rental Group for $635m
National law firm Gilbert + Tobin has advised Sime Darby on its acquisition of provider of business-to-business equipment rental solutions, Onsite Rental Group Limited.

Deal: Sime Darby has acquired Onsite Rental Group Limited, which employs more than 500 people through a network of over 30 branches across Australia, providing dry hire solutions and digital rental management solutions.
Area: M&A.
Value: $635 million.
Key players: The G+T team was led by partner Adam Laura, who was assisted by lawyers Thomas Riley, Srivatsav Moorthy and Daisy Cullen.
Deal significance: Mr Laura said, “Sime Darby and its Australian industrial division (including Hastings Deering) is doing great things in the Australian market.”
