Lawyers Weekly is pleased to announce the finalists of the 30 Under 30 Awards 2023, run with the support of principal partner Taylor Root.

  • Dispute Resolution and Litigation
  • Health, Medical, and Personal Injury
  • Projects, Energy, and Resources
  • Workplace Health and Safety
Now in its 12th year, the unparalleled awards programme identifies the best and brightest young lawyers across Australia and provides them with national recognition.

For over a decade, Lawyers Weekly has shone a light on the rising stars aged 30 and under who have worked hard to establish their careers and demonstrated a passion for the law and dedication to propelling the industry forward.

The winners will be announced at a black-tie gala ceremony at The Star in Sydney on Friday, 2 June 2023. Click here to buy your tickets.

The gala event will showcase the depth of talent among Australia’s young guns while recognising their tremendous efforts to set the foundation in their careers and prioritise personal advancement.

It is also an opportunity for legal professionals to network with leading firms and individuals while celebrating the achievements of their peers.

Judged by a panel of well-respected and influential professionals, a 30 Under 30 award sets legal professionals apart from their peers, strengthens their position by elevating their personal brand, and opens doors to new career opportunities.

Lawyers Weekly editor Jerome Doraisamy said it is thrilling for both the brand and Taylor Root to see such a high number of finalists for this year’s awards.

“That so many nominations were received, resulting in a record number of finalists, is a true testament to the calibre of talent in the emerging generation of leaders in law,” he proclaimed.

“The Australian legal profession is in good hands with those coming through the ranks.

“We look forward to celebrating with all the finalists, and eventual winners, on the night.”
