A recent gathering showcased Legalwise's dedication to celebrating exceptional female legal minds at the WLANSW Achievement Awards dinner. The acceptance speeches resonated with gratitude for the women who have played pivotal roles in the winners' journeys – from mothers to mentors and iconic figures like Janet Coombs AM.

Teela Reid, Lawyer, writer, and advocate of Wiradjuri and Wailwan heritage, delivered a poignant Keynote Address highlighting the resilience and impact of the First Nations Matriarchy and revered leaders like Mum Shirl. Her words reminded us all of the immense courage needed to speak truth to power.

Congratulations were extended to Karen Iles, the recipient of the Private Practice Lawyer of the Year award, as well as to all the remarkable finalists across various categories. The event left a lasting mark on everyone in attendance, uniting women in support of one another and fostering inspiration, insight, and empowerment.
